There was a great buzz as our volunteers celebrated along with staff and supporters at our Summer Social on Thursday 23rd June.
Barry Beadle, Manager at Volunteer Link Up, said, “We’re delighted to hold a Summer Social to bring our volunteers together to celebrate volunteers’ contribution and the difference they make to our organisation and for giving their time to improve the lives of others.”
It was a wonderful opportunity to meet and chat to other volunteers over some food and a quiz.
We were delighted to welcome Councillor Liz Duncan, Mayor of Witney, to join us. The mayor awarded long service certificates to many of our volunteers for 5, 10, 15, and even 20, years volunteering at Volunteer Link Up.

It was a special occasion thanking our volunteers for all they do to help people in the West Oxfordshire community.
